Web Design in Texas

Distance hasn’t stopped us from building sites for Texas businesses that show up when local customers search.

Who we build websites for in Texas

Distance means we skip the small talk about your neighbourhood and get straight to what actually matters: who’s searching for you, and what they need to see before they call. Here’s who we build for across Texas, and what each one needs from a website.

Trades and home services

We've built for painters, gutter installers, and home-service trades in Austin and Houston already. The playbook travels: fast load, a number a thumb can find without thinking, and a dedicated page for every city you actually work in, so you're not relying on one page to rank everywhere.

Industrial and commercial

Equipment, fabrication, and industrial supply companies, whether you're in Houston's industrial corridor or a smaller Texas market. The buyer is comparing you against competitors online long before they call. The site's job is closing that gap with certifications, real photos, and a direct line to a person.

Clinics and practices

Dental, chiro, physio, optometry, legal, accounting practices anywhere in Texas. The market's bigger and the competition is sharper, so the basics matter more, not less: real photos, booking that takes seconds, and rankings for what a patient is actually searching for, not your business name alone.

Retail and storefronts

From Fort Worth to Dallas to San Antonio, your site's real job is feeding your Google Business Profile: consistent hours, accurate location, current photos, and pages Google can rank alongside the map listing.

What's included in every build

Every Texas build gets the identical list below, we don’t strip it down for a lower quote and call the difference an upgrade later.

How a website project runs

Six weeks is the build window whether you’re in Austin, Houston, or a market nobody outside Texas has heard of. Distance changes how we meet, not how the project runs.

1. Discovery

Every project starts with a call, not a form, wherever you're located. We want to know what you sell, who buys it, where leads come from now, and what this site actually has to do. We audit your site and the search landscape, then return with a fixed price.

2. Design

You see the homepage and core templates first, so there's something real to react to instead of a pitch deck. You give feedback, we revise, and nothing else gets built until you approve the direction.

3. Build and content

Development happens on a private WordPress staging site with your copy written alongside it. You review real pages at a real URL from your phone, no matter the time zone, and changes happen now, not post-launch.

4. Launch

DNS, redirects from every old URL, SSL, analytics, Search Console, all verified on staging first. Nothing goes live unchecked, and your rankings transfer over rather than resetting.

5. Growth

After launch, a care plan covers hosting, updates, monitoring, backups, and support, run remotely just like the build was. SEO or Google Ads become the next step only once the numbers make the case.

What Our Clients Say

Verified Google reviews from businesses we’ve built, hosted, and grown.

Texas website pricing made simple

Most projects start near $4,500, with the typical range landing between $7,500 and $15,000 depending on scope and complexity. Enterprise-level builds run higher. Hosting and support are billed as a separate monthly plan, quoted alongside the project. You get a clear number up front, a real scope, a real timeline, and no surprise fees down the line. All pricing is in CAD, so with the current exchange rate, your dollar goes further than it would with a US-based agency.

We don't disappear after launch

Almost every new Texas client tells us a version of the same story: their last developer was great right up until launch, then disappeared. We built two things specifically to avoid repeating that. Hosting and maintenance covers Kinsta hosting, daily backups, WordPress updates, and monitoring that catches problems before they land on your desk. Website support is the other piece, a Basecamp project that never closes, post what you need and someone real picks it up.

Already have a website? Start with SEO

Not showing up in search and having a bad website aren’t the same problem, but they get treated like they are. If your Texas business likes its current site but it’s invisible on Google, we’ll audit it honestly before recommending a rebuild you might not need.

Who you'll actually work with

Being in Edmonton instead of Texas changes how we meet, not who you’re working with. You get the same four people from the first call through year five, remote doesn’t mean a rotating cast.

Texas web design FAQ

Do you work with businesses in Texas, and can you help us rank locally?

Yes. Every Texas build ships with the same local SEO foundation as our Edmonton work: schema markup, location pages, Google Business Profile alignment, and content built around how people actually search locally, regardless of the state it’s built for.

Plan on six weeks, no matter the Texas market. E-commerce, custom features, or a big content migration stretch that to eight or twelve. It’s almost always content or approvals on your end that decide the actual pace, not our schedule.

Most Texas builds land between $4,500 and $15,000, with $7,500 a common starting point once scope is set, and priced in CAD so your dollar stretches further. That’s a fixed number before work starts, not an hourly rate that grows. Hosting and support are billed as a separate monthly plan.

Yes, deliberately. WordPress is open source and runs a massive share of the web, so you own the site outright instead of renting access to a platform. Every build is custom, we skip marketplace themes entirely.

We write it, backed by keyword research and a look at your competitors before drafting anything. You approve everything before launch. If you’d rather handle your own copy, we can build around that instead.

Rarely. Texas projects run entirely on calls, email, and a shared staging link, same as everywhere else we work remotely. You review real pages at a real URL throughout, not just a status update over the phone.

None. Hosting and support run month to month, no matter where you’re located, and your site and data leave with you if you ever go. The build itself is a fixed-scope project with a clear end date.

We map 301 redirects for every old URL before launch and watch Search Console closely in the weeks after. A brief dip during reindexing is normal and usually climbs back higher than where you started, the only sites that get hurt are ones without a redirect plan.
