Who we build websites for in Ontario
We don’t pretend to know every Ontario neighbourhood the way we know Edmonton’s. What we bring instead is a process that works the same no matter where you are: real research into who’s actually searching for you, and a site built to answer that search. Here’s who we build for.
Trades and home services
We've already built for exteriors and home-improvement trades in Ontario, Teichroeb Exteriors in Aylmer is one. The brief is the same wherever you are: fast load, a phone number that's impossible to miss, and a page for every town you actually service, not just your head office address.
Industrial and commercial
Industrial supply and fabrication businesses, whether you're in the GTA or a smaller Ontario town. The buyer is still a procurement contact doing homework before the first call. What changes by market is the search volume, not what convinces them: certifications, capabilities, and real project proof.
Clinics and practices
Dental, chiro, physio, optometry, pharmacy, legal, accounting, we've already built this kind of site in Orillia. Wherever you're located, the same things move the needle: booking that doesn't require a phone call, real photos instead of stock ones, and rankings for the treatment itself, not just your name.
Retail and storefronts
Whether you're on a main street in London or Kingston, a storefront in Windsor, or a plaza near Ottawa, your site's real job is feeding your Google Business Profile: consistent hours, accurate location, current photos, and pages Google can rank alongside the map listing.

How a website project runs
Six weeks is the standard build window no matter which Ontario market you’re in. Video calls replace the in-person check-ins, but the pace and the updates stay the same.
1. Discovery
We start with a call regardless of time zone, not a form to fill in alone. What do you sell, who buys it, where do leads come from today, what should this site do differently? We audit your current site and search landscape, then come back with a fixed price.
2. Design
The homepage and key templates are built first, so feedback happens on something real, not a concept over email. You give input, we revise, and nothing else gets built until you're satisfied.
3. Build and content
We build in WordPress on a private staging site and write your copy in parallel. You review real pages on a real URL from your phone, wherever you are, and changes happen now, not after launch.
4. Launch
DNS, redirects from old URLs, SSL, analytics, Search Console, verified on staging before anything goes live. Your search rankings carry over intact, distance doesn't change that.
5. Growth
Once live, a care plan covers hosting, updates, monitoring, backups, and support, delivered remotely the same way the build was. SEO or Google Ads come next only if the numbers justify the investment.

A major part of this was how useful the information tied into search engine optimization to help us drive traffic on the bison website. We learnt so much about troubleshooting in e-commerce and business and about the difference between earned media (social media) and owned media (your website) and how to make earned media point back to owned media. Thank you, YEG Digital! Marcia Ewuraesi MochiaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For our group based course this semester, Paul, the CEO of YEG Digital, volunteered his time to deliver an in-depth presentation that helped our class develop a digital and website design plan for working with a small business. In particular, he helped our group refine our project direction by emphasizing the importance of strong social media visuals for marketing and attracting potential customers, which is especially useful in a small town. Thank you, Paul, for your valuable time and effort in making this process easier for us. Keizsa RarasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Luke SchaeferTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul spoke in my University class to give us pointers on digital marketing and was an unreal speaker and very interactive, leading a class-wide discussion. His knowledge of website exposure and marketing/business techniques helped a lot with our project of working with small businesses. Helene BuysTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul came in to give a presentation for one of my classes on the topics of digital marketing, website development, and AI design strategies. He was very knowledgeable in what he was sharing with us and kept the class engaged throughout. I found Paul to be very considerate and forthcoming when answering questions and that he truly cared about ensuring we had the information we needed. Paul did an excellent job in conveying his knowledge, everything was clear and well organized. He even looked at some of the group projects to help us further understand what he was talking about and how to implement it. Paul gave my group some useful advice for our project. One of the key things he mentioned to us was that we could use Loom.com to record our screen and show the process we are going through step by step. We can then send this video to our partner, who runs a small hops fam, for future use when updating the website we are designing for them.
Ontario website pricing made simple
Projects typically start around $4,500 and land between $7,500 and $15,000 depending on scope and complexity, regardless of where you’re located. Larger builds cost more. Hosting and support are billed separately as a monthly plan, quoted with the project. You get an honest baseline from the start: defined scope, a real timeline, no hidden costs.
We don't disappear after launch
New Ontario clients almost always describe the same experience with their last developer: responsive, then gone the moment the invoice cleared. We built two things to stop that from happening here too. Hosting and maintenance is the technical piece, Kinsta hosting, daily backups, WordPress updates, monitoring that catches problems early, wherever you’re located. Website support is the other piece: a standing Basecamp project, open indefinitely, where a real person answers whatever you post.
Already have a website? Start with SEO
A website doesn’t have to be bad to be invisible. If your Ontario business is happy with its site but it isn’t ranking, a rebuild is usually the wrong, and more expensive, fix. We’ll audit it honestly and tell you whether it needs replacing or just needs better SEO.
Who you'll actually work with
We run Ontario projects exactly like our Edmonton ones, just over video instead of in person. The same four people the whole way through, no handoff to a stranger once the ink’s dry.

Ontario web design FAQ
Do you work with businesses in Ontario, and can you help us rank locally?
Yes. Distance doesn’t change what’s built into the site: schema markup, location-specific pages, a properly aligned Google Business Profile, and content structured around real local search intent, wherever in Ontario that happens to be.
How long does it take to build a website?
Six weeks covers most builds, regardless of which Ontario city you’re in. E-commerce, custom features, or a heavy content migration push that to eight or twelve. What actually determines the pace is how quickly content and approvals come back from your side.
What does a website cost?
Most Ontario projects fall between $4,500 and $15,000, with $7,500 a common starting point once scope is clear, no matter where you’re located. It’s a fixed number agreed before work starts, not an hourly rate. Hosting and support are billed separately, monthly.
Do you build on WordPress?
Yes, and it’s intentional, wherever you’re located. It’s open source and runs a massive share of the web, which means you actually own the site instead of leasing access. Every build is custom, no marketplace themes.
Do you write the content, or do we provide it?
We write it, standard, backed by keyword research and competitor analysis before drafting anything. You approve everything before it’s live. If you’d rather write it yourself, we’re happy to build around that instead.
Do we have to meet in person?
Almost never, and that’s by design. Every Ontario project runs on calls, email, and a shared staging link. You still see real pages at a real URL at each stage, not just a phone call telling you it’s finished.
Are there long-term contracts?
No long-term contracts, wherever you are. Hosting and support are month to month, and you keep your site and data if you ever move on. The build itself has a fixed scope and a defined finish.
What happens to our rankings when the new site launches?
Every old URL gets a 301 redirect mapped before launch, and we track Search Console for weeks afterward regardless of location. A short dip during reindexing is normal and usually recovers above where you started. Unplanned redirects are what actually causes damage.
