Calgary Web Design & WordPress Development
We build custom WordPress websites for Calgary businesses that need more than a nice-looking homepage. Every site is planned around search, mobile users, and making it easier for customers to contact you.
Custom Web Design for Calgary Businesses
A website has to look good, but that’s only part of the job. We plan the pages, navigation, content, calls to action, and SEO structure before getting too far into the design.
That means the finished site is built around how customers actually move through it, whether they’re comparing companies, looking for a specific service, checking reviews, or trying to get a quote from their phone.
Every Website Includes
- Custom WordPress design
- Mobile-first layouts
- SEO-friendly page structure
- Contact forms and booking
- Conversion tracking
- Email integrations
- CRM Integrations
- Accessibility
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
WordPress Website Development
We build on WordPress because it gives Calgary businesses flexibility and ownership without locking the website into a closed platform.
Simple service sites stay simple. More complex projects can include WooCommerce, booking systems, directories, custom forms, CRM connections, gated content, location finders, and other features your business actually needs.
Website Redesigns
You don’t always need to start from zero.
If your existing website already has useful content, rankings, backlinks, or traffic, we look at what should stay before rebuilding anything. Important URLs are mapped, redirects are planned, and existing SEO value is protected during launch.
The goal is to improve the site without throwing away everything the old one already earned.
Mobile-First Calgary Web Design
A large part of your audience will see your website on a phone before they ever see it on a desktop.
We build around that first. Calls need to be easy to tap, forms need to work without zooming in, menus need to make sense, and important information shouldn’t be buried under five screens of design.
Websites Built for SEO
SEO doesn’t start after the website goes live.
Keyword research, page structure, internal linking, content planning, schema, metadata, redirects, Search Console, and analytics are considered throughout the build.
That gives our SEO team a much better starting point if you want to keep growing after launch.

Paul helped us with figuring out what platform to use for our website based on our client’s needs by showing us the pros and cons. A major part of this was how useful the information tied into search engine optimization to help us drive traffic on the bison website. We learnt so much about troubleshooting in e-commerce and business and about the difference between earned media (social media) and owned media (your website) and how to make earned media point back to owned media. Thank you, YEG Digital! Marcia Ewuraesi MochiaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For our group based course this semester, Paul, the CEO of YEG Digital, volunteered his time to deliver an in-depth presentation that helped our class develop a digital and website design plan for working with a small business. In particular, he helped our group refine our project direction by emphasizing the importance of strong social media visuals for marketing and attracting potential customers, which is especially useful in a small town. Thank you, Paul, for your valuable time and effort in making this process easier for us. Keizsa RarasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul Letourneau was very professional, approachable, and generous with his time. Luke SchaeferTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul spoke in my University class to give us pointers on digital marketing and was an unreal speaker and very interactive, leading a class-wide discussion. His knowledge of website exposure and marketing/business techniques helped a lot with our project of working with small businesses. Helene BuysTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul came in to give a presentation for one of my classes on the topics of digital marketing, website development, and AI design strategies. He was very knowledgeable in what he was sharing with us and kept the class engaged throughout. I found Paul to be very considerate and forthcoming when answering questions and that he truly cared about ensuring we had the information we needed. Paul did an excellent job in conveying his knowledge, everything was clear and well organized. He even looked at some of the group projects to help us further understand what he was talking about and how to implement it. Paul gave my group some useful advice for our project. One of the key things he mentioned to us was that we could use Loom.com to record our screen and show the process we are going through step by step. We can then send this video to our partner, who runs a small hops fam, for future use when updating the website we are designing for them.
Who you'll actually work with
We’re based in Edmonton and work with Calgary clients remotely through calls, Basecamp, and shared staging sites. You still work with the same small Alberta team rather than being passed around a large agency.

Calgary Web Design FAQs
How much does a Calgary website cost?
Most website projects fall between $4,500 and $15,000, with around $7,500 being a common project size. Larger sites, ecommerce, migrations, and custom functionality can increase the cost. Our full pricing breakdown explains why quotes vary so much between companies. Get a personalized number with our quick project cost calculator.
How long does a website take to build?
Around six weeks is normal for a standard website. Larger projects can take eight to twelve weeks depending on content, features, and how much needs to be migrated.
Do you build custom WordPress websites?
Yes. We build on WordPress, but we don’t start with an off-the-shelf theme and swap in your colours. The site is designed around your business and content.
Do you write the website copy?
Yes. We handle keyword research, page planning, and the first draft of the content. You review everything before the website goes live.
Can you redesign our website without losing rankings?
Yes. Existing rankings, URLs, backlinks, and important pages are reviewed before launch so redirects and migrations can be handled properly.
Do you build ecommerce websites?
Yes. We use WooCommerce when WordPress is a good fit for the store and can connect payment, shipping, inventory, and other tools where required.
Can you build location pages for different parts of Calgary?
Yes, when there is a real search reason for them. We prefer useful location content over creating dozens of thin pages that only change the neighbourhood name.
Do you host the websites you build?
Yes. We offer managed WordPress hosting along with maintenance and ongoing website support after launch.
